We offer times of worship and Christian formation for adults, children and youth at Calvary.
Children & Youth
Nursery: Sunday mornings (9am unstaffed and 10:30am staffed)
An unstaffed nursery is available during worship for diaper changing, nursing, or simply a crawl and play space.
A staffed nursery during Christian Formation hour is dedicated to reading Bible stories, singing praise songs, and caring for your child in a safe environment while adults attend Bible study.
PreK 4 - 5th grade:Sunday mornings (10:30am)
During the school year, our children gather together to hear stories from the Bible, discuss deep truths, and ask questions about the “whys and whats” of our faith and Lutheran heritage. We play games, make crafts, and joyfully worship the Lord together! Our Sunday School year ends on May 17th and resumes in the fall.

High School
Currently our high school youth are asked to join our Adult Bible study at 10:30am during the Christian Formation hour. Pastor Johnson is adept at relating Biblical truth in a manner that is approachable and accessible and the depth of the class broadens understandings of Holy Scripture, the Triune God, and how we all fit into Christ’s redemption story.
Additional programming
Each year our middle and high school youth attend retreats and camps. The NALC Youth Gathering, Phantom Ranch, and mission trips to name a few. In these Gospel centered endeavors, we seek to build gathering opportunities that stretch our students to know Christ and make Him known.
6-8th grade Confirmation: Sunday mornings (10:30am)
During the school year, Christian Formation Director Lynnae Douglas, leads this class tailored to middle school youth as they engage with the liturgy and the Bible in an environment where questions are asked and answered. The class culminates with a Confirmation celebration when confirmands are ready to assent to the doctrines of the Lutheran church and become members of Calvary.

Amazing Grace Small Group
