Congregation Council Elected by the congregation at its annual meeting, the Council provides leadership and supervision for the life and activities of the congregation.

Board of Deacons helps guide the spiritual well being of the congregation by keeping in contact with the membership.

CALVARY LUTHERAN CHURCH - MINISTRY TEAMS At Calvary, we believe that our life of faith is lived out in five areas of ministry. This life of faith begins with Evangelism and leads through Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, and Servant Ministries. Within each of these areas of ministry, there are numerous action and/or ministry teams that are involved in active ministry. 1. Evangelism Ministry "The church exists to communicate God's word. Evangelism is more than our responsibility; it is our great privilege. We are invited to be part of bringing people into God's eternal family, to share the Good News wherever we go." Public Relations, Hospitality (Visitor's Center, Narthex Ministry), Walk Through the Neighborhood, Newsletter (The Crossroads), Greeters 2. Worship Ministry "The church exists to worship God. We are commanded throughout Scripture to celebrate God's presence by magnifying the Lord and exalting His name." Music Ministry, Ushers, Wedding Coordinators, Lectors, The Arts, Baptism Ministry, AcolytesAltar Guild 3. Fellowship Ministry "The church exists to provide fellowship for believers. As Christians we are called to belong, not just to believe. We are to belong to Christ's family and to be members of his body." Discipleship Ministry "The church exists to educate God's people, teaching them to obey. Discipleship is the process of helping people become more like Christ in their thoughts, feelings, and actions. It is the church's calling to nurture people to spiritual maturity." Education Leadership Teams (Sunday School, Confirmation, & Adult Education), Youth Leadership Teams (Little League, Middle School, & High School), Deacons (House of Hope) 5. Servant Ministry "The church exists to serve people. Servant Ministry is demonstrating God's love to others by meeting their needs and healing their hurts in the name of Jesus." Mission & Outreach, Mission/Servant Week , Circle of Love, Mission of the Month, Partner Congregation, Serenity Inn, St. Vincent de Paul Meal Program, Quilters Ministry Support "The entire ministry of Calvary is supported by a host of servants that concentrate on enabling and encouraging these ministries to take place. This support includes staff, Congregation Council, Personnel, Mutual Ministry, Budget & Finance, Endowment, Properties, Office Volunteers, Technology, Long-Range Planning, Implementation Team, Stewardship, and Spiritual Gift Inventory.
