For more than a decade, Mission Servant Week at Calvary has been a tradition of intentional serving in the community. The week typically runs in June and has a large variety of projects and opportunities for young & old alike. Calvary members work side by side in the community and throughout the surrounding areas.
Past year’s annual Mission Servant Week included a wide variety of opportunities for people of all ages, physical abilities and talent levels. In past years we have partnered with Lutheran Social Services, Hope Christian Academy, Corp Care, the Blood Center of Wisconsin, and others as well as within the walls of Calvary.
We thank all those who have in past years given of their time and talents and contributed to our on-going mission to show God’s love in the community. Join us June 18-25, 2011 as we continue our tradition of outreach in Christ's name.
Check out the opportunities below for how you can be involved in Mission Servant Week 2011. Not for members only - anyone can help!

Blood Drive (Monday, June 20th, 3-7 pm)
The MSW Blood Drive is scheduled for Monday, June 20th from 3-7 pm. Click on the Blood Center logo to schedule an appointment!
Bone Marrow Registration Drive (Monday, June 20th, 3-7 pm)
In conjunction with the Blood Drive, we will also have a Bone Marrow Donor Registration Drive. There is no need to pre-register for this, but we ask that you prayerfully consider being a part of the National Bone Marrow Donor Registry. Thousands of patients hope for a bone marrow donor who can make their life-saving transplant possible. They depend on people like you. You have the power to save a life. Take the first step and register to become a donor.
Registering is free, quick & easy - fill out the forms and do a cheek swab. For FAQs about donating and what to know before you decide to join the registry, click on the logo. By clicking on the logo, you will be directed to the "Be the Match" Bone Marrow Donor Registry website where you can find more information.
Click the picture at right to read Charlotte's story. Charlotte is a relative of Calvary member, Kim Steiner, and was diagnosed with acute megakaryoblastic leukemia this past September. Without the life-saving bone marrow transplant from a donor on the Bone Marrow Donor Registry that Charlotte received in March, Charlotte may not have been able to celebrate her 3rd birthday on May 31st.
